Creating Product Questions
This article will go through how to add & maintain product questions.
When creating/editing a Donation or General product, you can add questions.
Click on the + sign to add questions.
Click on 'Please Choose' to pick what type of question you want to add.
Free Form Text - Pick this option if you want your users to be able to use free text to enter there answers. Examples include: Enter in your envelope number, Do you have any medical conditions, Please provide an emergency contact.
Multiple Choice - Pick this option if you want to predetermine the answers your users will pick. Please note they can only pick 1 answer. Examples Include: Q: Do you agree to our terms and conditions? A: Yes/No. Q: Choose a size. A: S,M,L,XL
For Free Form Text, enter in the question you want to ask in the ‘Short Description’ field. This can be up to 100 characters. Switch the ‘Required Field’ toggle to YES if you want to make the question mandatory for your users. Click ‘Save’ when you are ready to complete the question and it will be automatically added to your product.
For Multiple Choice, enter in the question you want to ask in the ‘Short Description’ field. Click on ‘+ Add Choice 1’ to add in the 1st possible answer the user can choose and continue to add as many choices as you want. Switch the ‘Required Field’ toggle to YES if you want to make the question mandatory for your users. Click ‘Save’ when you are ready to complete the question and it will be automatically added to your product.
After you have added a couple of questions, you will be able to use the ‘Recent Questions’ tab and select previously defined questions and add them to your products.
To delete any question that you have added to a product, use the ‘Delete’ button beside the question you wish to delete.
